「なんでこんなにカッコいいのに忘れられているんだろう？」という時計が。
今回の Y740-5000 も、まさにそんな一本です。
セイコーのカジュアルライン ALBA が元気だった時代のデジタルウォッチ。
当時は学生から社会人まで、とにかく「使える時計」を作るブランドでした。
この Y740モジュール は、派手さはないですが実に堅実。
時間表示を中心に、日常で必要な機能をしっかり備えた実用デジタルです。
そしてこのモデル、
見た目が妙に良い。
直線的なケースデザイン、
シンプルな液晶表示、
そしてALBAらしい「仕事できそうな顔」。
80〜90年代の日本のビジネスデジタルって、こういう雰囲気があるんですよね。
最近は チープカシオ が人気ですが、
実はこの時代のALBAも負けていません。
むしろ「知ってる人だけが拾う」感じで、コレクター的にはちょっと面白い存在です。

There are some scratches, but honestly very few for a watch of this age.

The watch comes with an **original ALBA bracelet**, but it is **very short**.
Sorry about that—it will likely need replacement for most wrist sizes.

A **new battery was installed in March 2026**.
